“The best thing I spent money on for the whole wedding.”

True Documentary Style

Wedding Videography

It all starts with a meeting. I get to know you, you get to know me. We grab some lunch or FaceTime and chat about what each person wants from the film. This is when I say that I am more interested in making a documentary style film that captures your entire lives at this point in time, not just the singular wedding day. I want to make a film for YOU, not for social media. I want you to watch it 20 years from now, show your kids, and get so damn nostalgic because you see so many people who were in your lives at this special time, interactions you’ve forgotten about, and even hobbies you still love or favorite taco places you miss. I want you to be completely propelled back in time for an hour or two.

Now, once we’ve got a general plan figured out, we will set up dates to film different aspects of your lives. What these are totally depends on who you two are and what is important to you, however there are some must-have’s:

  • the wedding day (classic)

  • the rehearsal dinner

  • interviews with you and your fiancé, and interviews with parents, grandparents, or best friends.

In addition to these, we’ve got a list of ideas for other shoot day options as well:

  • footage of you hanging out with friends, family, and pets

  • take us to the proposal site or location of your first date and telling the story of how it all happened

  • the wedding shower

  • any wedding decisions that still need to be made or done, such as cake tasting, dress/tux fitting, or invitation envelope stuffing night, etc!

The list goes on and on, and as we get to know each other, we can create a custom list specifically for YOU and your needs. We are extremely passionate about this concept and could go on and on about it. The bottom line is, do you want a feature-length film made specifically for you, or do you want a video made for social media?

“The wedding vendor you never knew you needed.”

Tired of seeing wedding videos that were made for social media? Me too.

My name is Mikey, and I started Atlas Jack Productions after having shot hundreds of weddings with other companies. I wanted to have my own take on wedding films, and be able to create them the way I would want mine created.

“It’s more of a lifestyle film rather than just a wedding video.”

Let’s start this journey!
